Jerin Williams

Artist, Designer, Adventurer

I grew up transitioning down through the west coast states and landed in Southern California. I found a love for computers, art, and music at an early age. I excelled in high school academically and athletically in wrestling. Despite my athlete status, I was an undercover nerd, I was building computers and always needing the newest software. Out of high school, I was recruited to attend Cal State Fullerton which had a Division I wrestling team to begin my general education. I dabbled in many college avenues such as programming and engineering, but quickly found that art, photography, and computers would always be my passion. I earned my BFA with a concentration in Entertainment Art. I learned art traditionally starting with hand drawings and painted creations. As I grew I started applying those skills digitally to create most of my images. I’ve created hundreds of images for a myriad of clients working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. To satisfy my love for art and desire to grow in that field, I worked on many varied projects from weddings, photography, logos, vector art, product marketing, web imagery, and general graphic design etc. Most notably, I worked with the Nixon Library editing their weekly videos and nationwide legacy forums. I utilize Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and others with my traditional techniques of drawing and painting to refine my craft. For all the video editing I use Adobe Premiere to organize, edit, cut, and manipulate the footage. Whether coaching wrestling, riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, or traveling I know that I love to challenge myself. I discovered outdoor rock climbing, a physically and mentally demanding pursuit, which I quickly excelled at and love! Where else do you hone so many skills at once? Balance, agility, flexibility, strength, endurance, problem solving, memory, and many more? When climbing, you get to practice coming face to face with your mortal fear and practice commanding that moment. It results in focused performance despite fear and produces the ability to execute incredible physical feats while in the zone. I love to bring this philosophy into every area of my life and am looking forward to using it with clients and my next career adventure.
